A Life Well-Lived
Sunrise: On April 2, 1972, God blessed Larry and Eartha Davenport with the gift of their daughter, Veronica Renee Davenport.
Veronica was joy-filled, good-natured, and possessed a remarkable sense of humor that helped her navigate both the highs and lows of life. The saying, “A friend to many, a stranger to none,” truly embodied her spirit. She was an extraordinarily outgoing and charismatic individual, beloved and admired by all who had the privilege of meeting her.
Veronica chose to live her life in a way that uplifted everyone around her. Simply being in her presence made others feel happier and more at peace. She was an exceptional example of a life well-lived, leaving a lasting impact on all she encountered.
Sunset: On February 7, 2025, God welcomed Veronica into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Davenport, and her brother, Timothy Davenport. Veronica is survived by her mother, Eartha Davenport of Perry, S.C.; two daughters: Capresha Davenport of Aiken, S.C., and Tiffany Davis (Kevin Davis) of Greenville, S.C.; four siblings: Thomas Davenport of Wagener, S.C., Jacqueline Davenport of Aiken, S.C., Russell Davenport of Wagener, S.C., and Jennifer Davenport of Wagener, S.C.; eight beautiful grandchildren: Harmony Davis, Karsten Davis, Dillan Davenport, Mi'Shonae Washington, Phero Sweat, Kraig Sweat, Lyric Davenport, and Logan Davenport; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many caring friends.
Though Veronica has journeyed on, she will never be forgotten. Her legacy of love, unwavering devotion, and joyful friendship will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her, forever shining brightly through the genuine life she lived.
