Mrs. Jennie Mack was born on April 25, 1959, to the late Mr. Ephron Brown, Sr. and Mrs. Louise Foster Brown. She passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025. Jennie was educated in the public schools of Aiken County and led a productive career at Graniteville Mills for over 20 years.
Jennie was married to Mr. Edward Mack, Sr., and from their union they were blessed with one child, Mr. Edward Drayton Mack, Jr.
Mrs. Jennie Mack was revered as the matriarch of her family and loved her family with all her heart. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them and preparing delicious meals. The life of the party, Jennie’s presence guaranteed good times and good food, especially her famous collard greens! In her free time, Jennie enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and dancing. She was a joy to be around and brought laughter and happiness wherever she went. To know her was to love her, as she never met a stranger.
Mrs. Jennie Mack was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Christine Dunbar, Elease Jones, Rosa Lee Brown, Gloria Brown, and Raymond Brown; one niece, Tracy Bates; and one nephew, Jeff Brown.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Edward D. Mack, Jr.; nephews she loved as sons, Reco (Casandra) Brown and Robert “Big Worm” Dunbar, Jr.; stepson, Damian Milhouse; stepdaughter, Earlean Chavis; nieces she loved as daughters, Latasha Dunbar and Lashonda Dunbar; grandchildren, Jamarian Byars and Sa’Riyah Walker; special ones loved as grandchildren, Shyheime Johnson, Kileigh Gilbert, and Zamya Edwards; goddaughter, Zaire Corbitt; godsons, Quincy Franklin and Quentin (Tonya) Corbitt; brother, Ephron Brown, Jr.; loved ones considered family, Tannis (Jimmy) Scott, Vannie Brown, and James Brown; aunts, Geraldine Belton, Yvonne Briggs, and Marion Brown; sisters-in-law, Rosetta Brown, Brenda Brown, Juanita Mack, and Shirley Mack; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Lee Jones, Robert Dunbar, Sr., Warren Mack, and Evon Mack; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
