Mr. Marvin Lee Mingo was born on August 1, 1967, in Bamberg, South Carolina. He was the son of Joseph Mingo and Roslin Breland Mingo. He left from this early life to be with his Lord and Savior on July 25, 2024.
He was educated in the public of Bamberg County, South Carolina. He was a 1986 graduate of Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School. He was employed by the Select Comfort Mattress Company factory. He was a member of Rizer Chapel United Methodist Church.
Marvin was a very loving person. In his free time, he enjoyed singing and music. He was known to be a good cook and enjoyed BBQing. He enjoyed hanging out with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Mingo, and brother, Jervey Mingo.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Roslin B. Mingo; daughter, Shanice Thomas; son, Jarvis (Denasha) Robinson; grandchildren, Amaurion Mingo, Cameron Mingo, Deqohn Thomas, Jr. and Jarvis Robinson, Jr, Rilynn Robinson; siblings, Melvin (Grace) Mingo, Dianne (Clyde) Bamberg, Modestine (David) Dewitt, of Columbia, SC; Lorene Mingo, Joseph Mingo, Jr., Gregory Murdaugh; and Jeffrey Mingo; uncles, Willie James (Jeri) Mingo, and James (Charlotte) Breland; aunt, Ruthie Mae Burton Daisy Reddish, Carrie Lawton, Joann Mingo, Betty Mingo (Franklin) Johnson; sister-in-law, Shirley Mingo; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and caring friends, all of whom miss him dearly.
