Ernest "Munk" Corbitt

Mr. Ernest “Munk” Corbitt, 74, “, born April 3, 1950, to the late Queen D. Corbitt and the late Clarence Isaac departed his earthly life and entered his heavenly home on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Ernest was a United States Army Veteran.

“Munk” was preceded in death by his daughter, Tameeka La’Sha Adams; four sisters, Mary Scott, Joan Corbitt, Lubertha James, and Mattie Boney; and three brothers, Bryant Corbitt, Jr., Joe L. Corbitt, and Charlie Corbitt.

“Munk” has transitioned to heaven where there he will await the arrival of the beloved ones he is leaving behind. Those who will remain on earth to share and commemorate his memories include four children, Nicholas, Nicole, and Alexis Corbitt, of Greenville, SC, and Shambra (Troy) Corbitt-Simons, of Columbia, SC. “Munk” also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends who will join his immediate family in remembering the stories, laughter, legacies, and joyful times he left behind.
