Christine Pollard Obituary

Ms. Christine Pollard was born on February 14, 1951, in Bronx, New York. She was the daughter of Gladys William Pollard and Lucien Pollard. She departed this life on September 28, 2022, at her residence.

Ms. Pollard was educated in New York. She graduated from Walton High School in Bronx, NY. She later furthered her education at Monroe College, Bronx, New York. She was employed with AT&T, where she retired after 30 years.

In her pastime, she enjoyed reading Stephen King books, watching television, concerts, and shopping. She loved food and enjoyed baking, especially bread pudding, cooking, and dinning at restaurants. Christine was very fond of music especially R&B and Hip-Hop.

She was known to her daughter as one that didn’t sugar coat anything. Her grandchildren remember her as one that gave good sound advice. Christine said what was on her mind. Her friends and family will always remember her as the person who was always ready to have fun.

She was preceded in death by: her parents.

Ms. Christine Pollard leaves to cherish precious memories: her devoted daughter, Janine Pollard Jones; loving grandchildren, Christopher Yeadon, Eric Jones, Jr., and Jared Williams-Eris Jones; special great-grandchildren, Bryce, Ashton Dupree, Cairee, and Milan Yeadon; siblings, Andrew Miller, Jr., and Joan McCoy (Fernando) Cannon; one nephew, Fernando Cannon; a host of loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss Christine dearly.
